THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

Muscular or myofascial dysfunction is present in a vast majority of patients who present with pain issues.  Soft-tissue problems are underappreciated and underdiagnosed in many instances because conventional diagnostic tools do not reveal how muscles, tendons, and the fascia function or feel in a patients’ body unless there is obvious pathology.  The best means of diagnosing these painful conditions must include tactile or hands on analysis of the tissues.  When treating joint disorders of the spine and extremities, it is imperative to also treat the connective tissues that attach to, support, and move the joints.  Combining therapeutic massage, chiropractic manipulation, and acupuncture can be incredibly therapeutic and efficient in treating a variety of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.  Our group of experienced therapists will recommend a treatment approach best suited to each patient’s unique needs.
